It’s never too late to learn “your numbers,” some basic food terminology, and how your menu shows up in financial forecasting and reporting. Bookkeeping and accounting, profit and loss, income and expenses, forecasts and reports: we’ll find your food costs in all of these categories or reports and help you build a strong, profitable small business. Not watching your pennies can show up in cost overruns due to small vendor price increases that, if not addressed, could catch you off guard and become the sudden death of your business. This lack of astute accounting resulted in the demise of a famous chain restaurant in our state during 2024.

NOTE: Part-2 will begin with a review of the homework (e.g., inventory and costing) assigned during Part-1. A separate registration is required for Part-1 on Monday, September 8.
