Being asked the question, "How much do you think you will earn in the first 12 months of business?" can be exciting, terrifying, and confusing. How do you answer with figures that are both optimistic and realistic? Sales forecasting is a skill that all successful business owners’ practice to master! This interactive hands-on webinar builds upon the Cash Flow part#1 exercise for the mock business. Students learn how to identify revenue streams, how to make sales forecasts as realistic as possible for lenders, how to complete the cash flow sheet using data, and how to estimate funding needs based on sales projections. Participants will need a calculator and should be ready to participate in group breakout sessions for the exercise. Students will be provided with a Microsoft Excel worksheet that they can complete either electronically or by hand in class and tools to set up sales projections for their own business upon completion.
