Topic: Start-up Assistance

The arrival of social platforms and messaging tools has changed the way that business owners communicate. These tools have also affected the speed and rate at which we have conversations, making tremendous impacts on the quality of our communications. Much of what we do with messaging focuses on outcomes. What has been lost is the formal process of how we send, receive, and process a message - prior to responding. The process is what makes messaging more effective and outcomes more useful.

The 3 Practices Circle is a process oriented, problem-solving mechanism business owners can use to get questions answered, holistically, from various perspectives. The process starts with a framing question. Then all one needs to do is Listen. Ask. Think. Repeat.

Solution Circles increase the depth and breadth of organizational intelligence. A lot of decision making is in trouble before it begins because there are perverse incentives for stakeholders in one silo to hold out on the rest.

3 Practices Solution Circles harness the power of 3 Practice’s rules to get at the sort of organizational intelligence that is often obscured by group think, mission drift, bad or incomplete information, irrelevant power struggles, and other blind spots.

Solution Circles ensure that every point of view can be heard and explored by leveraging the shared knowledge and wisdom of the whole team to explore the strengths, weaknesses, risks, costs, and potential rewards of competing thoughts or ideas.

The framing question for this session will be, “Why should you cultivate creativity in your small business?”

Space is limited so please register only if you can commit to attending.
