Local Impact Consulting exists to build up the people and organizations that drive Community Development. We meet the needs of Fayetteville's community development through completing projects for individuals, organizations, and businesses.

Workshop Objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand the purpose and legal responsibilities of nonprofit boards.
• Evaluate different board structures and determine what fits their organization.
• Define clear roles and responsibilities for board members and staff.
• Develop effective board recruitment, orientation, and succession plans.
• Create productive board meetings that focus on governance rather than operations.
• Establish healthy board culture, accountability, and engagement practices.
