Camp is open to rising 6th graders through rising 9th graders. In an atmosphere that promotes fun and learning, Youth Entrepreneurship Camp participants will be introduces to entrepreneurship as a viable career option. Through community asset identification, youth will identify opportunities for small business ventures. As a member of a team, participants will go through the business planning process to create and implement a business plan. Specific camp goals include: to gain understanding of entrepreneurship as a viable career plan; to generate business ideas to create an atmosphere of fun; to experience life in a college setting ; and to meet and lean from successful entrepreneurs.
