Class is located in Room 114 in the Wayne West Building. Hobbyist, sports lovers, potters, artist, woodworkers, bakers and candy makers want to turn their hobby into a business. Would it not be "just wonderful" to start making real additional income while doing your favorite pass time as a craftsman or craftswoman? This workshop will explore and answer most of the frequently asked questions related to the transition from hobby to business. Subtopics will include determining demand and markets potential, wholesale vs retail options, financial and time resources require, creating business model / plans, Internet opportunities and issues, income and sales tax implications and more.
