The Money Mastery Circle: Financial Reset for Established Business Owners
The Money Mastery Circle is a live, mastermind-style, small-group workshop for established, for-profit business owners who want more clarity and confidence around their taxes and financial decisions. In a round-table, discussion-based format, participants will learn how to better understand their own tax returns, recognize where money may be slipping through the cracks, and communicate more effectively with their tax professionals. This is a judgment-free zone designed for open discussion, questions, and practical learning; the program is educational in nature and does not provide individual tax advice. This is a rare and unique opportunity to learn from a tax professional who is also a small business owner and who travels across the United States learning and teaching these methodologies to other entrepreneurs. What You’ll Learn Participants will: • Learn how to identify and understand key sections of their Schedule C or S-Corporation tax return in plain language. • Gain awareness of common ways small businesses lose money due to late filings, bookkeeping issues, lack of tax planning, and misunderstood depreciation. • Hear a high-level explanation of selected new federal tax changes affecting small businesses, including: o The widely discussed “no tax on tips and overtime” o New and evolving 1099 filing requirements o How depreciation choices can impact taxable income over time • Develop better questions to ask their accountant or tax preparer to get clearer, more proactive guidance. • Learn how to set expectations with their current advisor and evaluate alternative professional support. • Develop increased confidence and reduced frustration. • Leave with a short list of actionable next steps to improve their financial and tax planning in the year ahead. Intended Audience • Established, for-profit business owners • Approximately $500,000–$1.5 million in annual revenue • At least 3 years in business and 20 or fewer employees • Filing as Schedule C or S-Corporation This seminar is not geared towards startups, nonprofits, or brand-new businesses; separate introductory classes are available through the Small Business Center.
