If you are a woman, minority, or disabled business owner, come join us and learn how to position your company to do business with the State of North Carolina & DOT. State government is the largest purchaser of goods and services in the state. Many state contract opportunities contain participation goals for Historically Underutilized Businesses (minority and women-owned businesses). This collaborative webinar covering many aspects of what it means to be a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) and how you can become certified. They will provide information and answer questions to enhance your overall understanding and provide in-depth hands-on assistance through the process of registering on the vendor portal, application and required documents.
