Design Confidently: A Canva Foundations Workshop
Ever wonder why some posts make you stop scrolling while others get ignored? In this hands-on 2-hour workshop, you'll learn the design principles and Canva techniques professionals use to create graphics that actually grab attention.
No design experience needed. By the end of this session, you'll walk away with the skills — and a few finished graphics — to make your content stand out.
What you'll learn:
- The psychology behind scroll-stopping visuals (color, contrast, and composition basics)
- Navigating Canva's interface like a pro (templates, elements, and brand kits)
- Typography tricks that make text pop without looking cluttered.
- Using color palettes and contrast to grab attention instantly.
- Sizing graphics correctly for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more.
- Quick editing hacks to speed up your workflow (backgrounds, effects, animations).
- Building a simple template system so you're not starting from scratch every time.
Who it's for:
Small business owners, content creators, marketers, and anyone who wants to level up their social media or marketing graphics — no prior design experience required.
Format:
