Taxation Issues for Small Business

Small business taxation issues will be discussed in this seminar. The taxes incurred by all forms of businesses will be compared. The benefits and drawbacks of a sole proprietor, partnership and corporations will be explained. The filing for a Limited Liability Company will be covered and how that affects filing of business taxes. Payroll issues, including a discussion as to employee or contract labor payment requirements will be clarified. Start-up issues such as federal EIN number acquisition, sales tax, and employment tax registration will be a focal point. Following this class attendees will be clear on most common tax requirements and issues for small businesses.
