This seminar will cover the basics of fundraising for nonprofits, which requires a lot of patience and persistence. First, we'll discuss developing a strategic plan for year-round fundraising that will not only provide you and your organization with an action plan, but will also help you identify the right people to help you with that plan. We'll also review methods for involving board members, building a case for support, de-mystifying the ask, fundraising vs. friend-raising, cultivating relationships, grant writing, and event planning. Finally, we'll cover an often overlooked aspect of fundraising - stewardship.
