2nd Annual Business Summit - Knowing What's Vital to Your Business Today

The Small Business Summit is a premier event for small businesses looking to network with peers and learn from valuable insights on leadership, marketing and healthcare. If you are a business owner, you are a leader. Hilda Pinnix-Ragland will discuss how the absence of leadership in a business can create a variety of challenges. If you own a business, you should market. Amy Wood Pasquini will discuss how to grow your business through marketing efforts. Harry Ponder will address the anticipated changes that small business owners will experience as the Affordable Care Act gets ready to take effect. There will also be opportunities for area businesses and organizations that co-sponsor the event to tell attendees about their products and services in an “expo” setting. Event presented by Duke Energy; and the Vance-Granville Community College Small Business Center in partnership with the Granville County Chamber of Commerce, Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce of Warren County and Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. Event will be held in the Civic Center located on the Main Campus.
