In an ideal world, everyone would recognize our organization’s value leading to unlimited resources and day-by-day success. Sounds nice, right? Unfortunately, it’s not very realistic and in the real world, all organizations face challenges, roadblocks and sometimes issues that are so insurmountable it results in the eventual demise of a nonprofit. Adversity isn’t usually fun, but it typically doesn’t have to be debilitating either. In this session you’ll hear an inspirational story from a local non-profit who turned their troubles into triumph with some optimism, creativity, community and board support and an unwavering will to succeed.
