As a business owner, the mental health of your employees is imperative to a healthy, happy, and productive workplace. Mental Health First-Aid for Business Owners teaches employers and managers how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders. This two part training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and/or experiencing a crisis. Mental Health First Aiders will never diagnose or treat; they will merely provide emergency support until the individual can be connected to a certified mental health professional. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.
