If you are wondering how to price for profit and whether you should offer discounted prices or go all-in, this session is for you. During this hands-on session—part workshop, part lab—you’ll learn how to: Understand your industry Compare your pricing to industry benchmarks Calculate your profit margin Estimate your sales based on your business goals The lab portion of this workshop will use a Google Sheet and you’ll have the opportunity to calculate your own numbers in real time. Participants should log in to their Google account prior to the start of the session. If you don’t already have a Google account, you can create one by following these instructions. Please come prepared to learn and engage by turning on your camera and participating in the chat. Cherith Roberson is a small business owner, the author of The Guided Small Business Planner™, and a speaker and educator. She served as the Director of the Wake Technical Community College Small Business Center from 2017 to 2022, where she supported hundreds of business owners in 1x1 counseling sessions, managed a team of counselors who supported approximately 500 business owners a year, and facilitated, taught, or organized workshops for thousands of entrepreneurs. Roberson’s entrepreneurial experience includes flipping houses, managing rental properties, and creating a local food directory and consulting business.
