Funders do not fund your existence, they fund your impact. Writing a successful grant application requires excellent research and writing skills to tell a strong, consistent, and impactful story. This webinar will teach participants how to write effective grant proposals to obtain funding for potential programs and projects.  Our speaker, Althea Lewis, MBA is the President of Lewis Grant Writing Services, LLC. Lewis Grant Writing Services provides grant writing and consulting services to nonprofit and for-profit organizations to help them secure funding for programs and services. She leverages her 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector to secure over $50 million in grant funds. She is passionate about helping organizations accomplish their goals and mission. She has facilitated numerous workshops, trainings, and conferences worldwide. She obtained an MBA degree in 2017 and is currently pursuing a certificate in Non-Profit Management and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. She is a part-time instructor and facilitates grant writing seminars through the Small Business Center (SBC) at several local community colleges. Althea Lewis serves as a peer grant reviewer for the US Department of Health & Human Services, US Department of Education and other national and local funding agencies. She is a member and approved trainer for the national Grant Professionals Association (GPA), and a member of the North Carolina Chapter GPA and National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators (NAFEPA).
