Our speaker, Ofelia Amador is a Business Community Officer at Bank of America and has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry. She has held multiple roles across different lines of business including Mortgage Lending, Investments and Business Banking. She is passionate about delivering Financial Education, Business Resources, Access to Capital and building meaningful relationships with a strong focus on diverse and multicultural business organizations. She is also actively engaged in the community cultivating relationships with local business organizations such as Chambers of Commerce and Community Development Financial Institutions ( CDFIs) amongst others. She received an Economics degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Ofelia is originally from Colombia and has currently lived in Charlotte since 1996. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in nursing homes, schools, and non-profit organizations. She is very passionate about natural medicine and holds a degree in Classical Homeopathy. Her hobbies also include traveling and outdoor activities. Ofelia is fluent in English, German and Spanish.
