Grant writing is a lengthy process that begins with an idea. However, before the writing process starts, fundamental knowledge about grants is important. This webinar will identify grant categories and terminology, define the purposes of a "grant", identify grant types available and explore reasons why funders provide grants. Grant Seeking 101 is an introduction to Grant Writing 101. Webinar Objectives: Participants will acquire skills in grant preparation, such as knowledge of effective pre-grant proposal actions, acquire research related strategies, understand the crucial components of relationship building; understand the components of a grant proposal, review grant development procedures and grant follow up protocol, and understand how to assess funder approval criteria.
