Taking the Leap: Startup Crash Course

Starting a business can be daunting. Why leap without having the tools to soar? Have an idea for a product or service but do not know where to start? The Small Business Center at South Piedmont Community College is accepting applications for Taking the Leap: Startup Crash Course!

▶ Collaborative Learning: Immerse yourself with other like-minded individuals, ask questions, and receive personalized advice during an intensive training. You will gain valuable insights into the key elements of starting and running a successful business.

▶ Expert Guidance: South Piedmont Community College's Small Business Center is thrilled to be partnering with the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) of UNC Charlotte. We welcome Jules Monroe, SBTDC Business Launch Specialist, as the program facilitator.

▶ Startup Essentials: Entrepreneurs can expect to add the following items to their toolbox:

• Business Plan Templates/Outlines/Guides
• Financial Projection Templates
• Intellectual Property Guide
• Digital Marketing Guide
• Market and Industry Research
• Customer Discovery Guide
• Startup Checklist

Participants must attend the in-person session on June 8 from 9 - 4 pm and the virtual pitch session on June 15 from 9 - 11 am.

• Obtain a Certificate of Completion for attending both sessions!
