We will start the afternoon at 3:00 pm with the Moore County Farmer Meet-Up to connect and network with fellow farmers and growers from the county. Afternoon snacks will be provided!
At 4:00 pm we will hear from our featured speaker, Janice Wright with Rooted in NC, all about what it really takes to welcome guests on your farm and create experiences that will keep people coming back.
The agritourism seminar will include:
A tour of our venue for the afternoon, Meadow Oaks Ranch and Meadow Oaks Weddings & Events A round table discussion with farms currently doing agritourism events, who will share real experiences and tips Practical ideas to help you prepare your farm for visitors This seminar will be free thanks to the Sandhills Small Business Center, NC Cooperative Extension, Moore County Center, and Meadow Oaks Ranch.
