A book is the new business card and the most powerful credibility tool a business owner, consultant, coach, or speaker can create. This hands-on, three-hour workshop turns "someday I should write a book" into a clear, workable plan you can act on immediately. You'll define your book's purpose, ideal reader, and core promise; learn the anatomy of effective storytelling for non-fiction and fiction; and use AI ethically as a writing assistant without losing your authentic voice. You'll also gain strategies to stay in action, publish on a budget, and turn your book into lasting credibility, clients, and speaking opportunities. Taught in person by Martin Brossman, with publisher Richard Grassi joining live via video.

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to:
● Define their book's business purpose, ideal reader, and one-sentence core promise
● Apply the anatomy of effective storytelling and choose the right structure for non-fiction or fiction
● Use AI writing tools ethically and effectively while preserving their authentic voice
● Stay in action with simple accountability and scheduling strategies that keep their book on track
● Self-publish professionally on a budget and avoid costly first-time author mistakes
● Create a simple marketing plan that turns their book into ongoing credibility, leads, and speaking opportunities

Instructors: Martin Brossman, Self-Employed Success Coach, author of four books, and statewide small business trainer since 1995, leads the session in person. Richard Grassi, author and publisher at Cedar Books, joins remotely to cover publishing operations. Course developed with instructional design advisor Dr. Justin Rose.
