Visitors spent over $56 million in Mother Nature’s Playground in 2024 proving that tourism is an important part of the Bladen County economy.
Bladen County’s Tourism Development Workshop and Gathering brings together business owners, future entrepreneurs and community leaders, to explore new opportunities for strengthening the county’s visitor economy. This interactive event is designed to share best practices, highlight local assets, and foster collaboration among partners who play a role in shaping the region’s tourism future.
Participants can expect engaging discussions on trends in tourism, strategies for promoting Bladen County as Mother Nature’s Playground, and practical tools for growing local businesses through visitor engagement. The gathering also provides time for networking, idea sharing, and building partnerships that will help enhance Bladen County’s profile as a destination for outdoor recreation, history, culture, and hospitality
