EMPOWERING ORDINARY PEOPLE TO ACCOMPLISH THE EXTRAORDINARY. Entrepreneurship reaches far beyond the concept of business creation and small business management. Entrepreneurship is a mindset that can empower people to succeed, no matter their chosen path. And in today’s world, entrepreneurship embodies the 21st Century skills every person needs. AN ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET FOR SUCCESS. This fall Richmond Community College is offering the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program. This is an experiential, problem-based program designed to empower learners by exposing them to entrepreneurial thinking while immersing them in entrepreneurial experiences. Develop these 21st Century skills needed to succeed: • Creative & Critical Thinking • Effective Problem Solving • Communication & Collaboration • Adaptability & Initiative • Curiosity & Lifelong Learning The program draws upon eight fundamental concepts of an entrepreneurial mindset derived from the book “Who Owns the Ice House?
