Are you thinking about starting a nonprofit, or are you currently working with an organization that is just getting off the ground? Has your organization been around for a while but could benefit from “going back to the basics” as you structure for the future? This webinar will highlight foundational tasks for nonprofits that seek to “structure for success.” Participants will walk away with resources to ensure that their organization complies with state/federal laws as well as a greater understanding of the critical components of development that impact sustainability. At the end of Boot Camp for Beginner Nonprofits Part 1, you should be able to: * Understand current trends and statistics as they relate to establishing and maintaining a nonprofit organization * Determine “IF” establishing a nonprofit is the best way to accomplish your “mission” (For those who have not filed for nonprofit status) * Evaluate if your organization has a strong foundation or if it is time to “revisit the basics” * Understand several key documentation and legal processes for beginner nonprofits * Craft an impactful vision and mission statement * Understand strategies to ensure that your organization is in compliance and can legally solicit funds at the local, state, and federal level. * Explore why creating diversified funding streams is not only a great idea…it is also legally necessary to maintain your nonprofit status. * Access a variety of free tools and templates to help your organization grow for good A grant writing expert, executive coach, and national fundraising trainer, Mandy Pearce, CFRE, launched Funding for Good, Inc. in 2009 to equip organizations with the skills and tools needed to become successful and sustainable.
