Topic: Managing a Business

Workplace ethics refer to choosing the options that are determined to be the moral or legal “right” choices, even if other alternatives are very attractive, and even if you can “get away with” less ethical choices. Businesses that support ethics initiatives consistently show more productivity and greater employee retention than organizations that consider company ethics merely an issue of compliance. This seminar explains the meaning of business ethics, the cost of abuse, and ways for companies to avoid such breaches. Ed Ormsby has over twenty years' experience consulting and counseling small business owners in all aspects of development and management. He has held virtually every sales, marketing and executive management position with Fortune 500, mid-sized and small businesses throughout the US, and has been a successful small business developer and owner for over twenty years. His presentation style is informal and engaging, encouraging participants to interact throughout.
