This 2-hour seminar provides a grounding in sustainability issues and offers some practical solutions for growing a Triple Bottom Line, eco-friendly business. Business owners will gain insight into consumer concerns and priorities and learn simple steps for reducing environmental footprint while also growing a business. In addition, students will be guided to resources to help them self-assess their environmental impact and tools for reporting progress. The seminar is based on the Sustainable Furnishings Council’s GREENleaders certified sustainability training program, a 6-hour, 6 ceu course in 6 units: -The Case for Sustainability -The Mind of the Consumer -Sourcing Eco-Friendly Materials -Sourcing Environmentally-Safe Processes - Selling & Marketing Eco-Solutions REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON MAY 23rd. Lunch will be provided for pre-registered students.
