Choosing the Correct Legal Entity

This course will provide an overview of the alternative forms for conducting business including sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies, “C” corporations and “S” corporations. It will cover the formation and operation of each business form and examine their relative advantages and disadvantages. Participants will gain a basic understanding of the various tax, legal and operational considerations relevant to selecting the most appropriate legal form in which to operate their respective businesses.
