Program Overview:

S.O.A.R is an 8-week business program specially designed for rural first-generation entrepreneurs who aspire to start their own businesses. The program aims to not only provide them with essential business startup knowledge but also focuses on cultivating them as successful business owners through the development of soft professional skills. Participants will be guided through a journey of self-discovery, business planning, operational strategies, goalsetting, networking, and resource utilization. The program is structured to ensure that participants receive the necessary support and incentives to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.

Instructor Tierra Norwood from Ajon's Professional Solutions is a "is a mother, entrepreneur, and businesswoman who has a diverse background in economic and business strategy and development, radio and TV broadcasting, web development and design, promotions and marketing." Tierra holds a certification from the Carolina School of Broadcasting in Radio and TV Broadcast Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Psychology from North Carolina Wesleyan College. She is a dynamic, engaging instructor best known as an authentic, results-driven, and goal-oriented business development and marketing specialist.
