This introductory workshop provides small business owners—and those planning to start a business—with a clear overview of the essential bookkeeping and tax responsibilities that come with running a business. Participants will learn about: 1. The different types of taxes small businesses are required to pay (income, payroll, and sales tax) 2. Common tax reporting schedules and deadlines 3. Record keeping best practices to stay audit-ready 4. How accurate bookkeeping supports compliance and business growth The session will include practical examples and tools to help business owners manage their finances with confidence and prepare for tax season year-round.
