INTRODUCTION TO HOW TO START A SMALL BUSINESS & BUSINESS PLAN OVERVIEW - GEM 1 of 8
This class is the first of eight (PARTICIPANTS MUST SIGN UP FOR ALL EIGHT CLASSES) and offers basic information of the program, and an introduction to entrepreneurship. A complete overview of the components and requirements of a business plan prepare participants to create their business plan by the end of the series. Participants will connect with local business owners to gain a working knowledge and help them prepare for start ups, challenges, pitfalls, marketing, and other business related topics for a better understanding of how to run a business. Participants learn to introduce themselves and their business with confidence and clarity with their personal "Elevator Speech."
