Accounts Receivable (a company’s invoices) and Accounts Payable (a company’s bills) are standard accounting features of QuickBooks. Analyzing the accuracy and health of your Accounts Receivable is important and forms the basis for business decisions such as income tax management and loans. In this class, we will: • Introduce the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable features. • Understand the flow of work in creating an invoice for a customer and the difference between recording sales and invoicing. Set up Accounts Payable (bills). • Acquire skill in understanding the accounting process going on in the background. • Discover how to receive payment on a customer’s invoice and the effect on your financial statements. • Learn tips and advice on solving problems with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
