Speaker(s): David Billstrom is a life-long entrepreneur and investor based near Asheville, NC. He has operated an advisory practice for businesses and executives for the past 20 years, following a career that included operating a $38m venture capital fund, founding several startups, serving as a manager at Intel Corporation and as a vice president at Walt Disney. He has worked with more than 50 companies over 40 years, including outdoor businesses such as Kitsbow Apparel and Velo Girl Rides (Blue Ride Parkway bicycle tours), and is a board member of the North Carolina Outdoor Recreation Coalition (NCOREC.org) He is also an author (Own Your Brand), a first responder, a former outdoor guide, and is deeply involved in rebuilding WNC after the Helene disaster (RebuildBlackMountain.org).
