Grant Writing - ZOOM
Althea Lewis began her grant writing career by working as an administrator for a non-profit organization in 2005. In this role, she learned the skill of grant writing and successfully secured funding for affected people residing in southeastern North Carolina. She has served in various roles such as grant coordinator, grant specialist, federal peer grant reviewer and consultant to help universities, non-profits, and the K-12 system to obtain funding for various projects and programs. Althea’s background and experience in research administration and grants management allow her to offer full grant life cycle support to small and large organizations. She has leveraged her 18 years of grant writing and non-profit experience to secure over $50 million in funding to date. Through her extensive experience, she has developed a deep understanding of the grant writing process and am dedicated to helping individuals and organizations achieve their goals.
