Workshop Content. • Become familiar with terms that are used in both the retail and service marketplace. • Discover the typical calendar schedules and identify each step in a typical review process. • Learn about the costs associated with resetting new items in retail. We’ll also address Changing out Service Providers and the related costs. • Understand how to reach your customer and discover the costs associated with using “umbrella” Manufacturing Rep Groups and Service organizations. • Learn how to work with distributors to get your products to end retailers. See what’s included in presenting your product/service to retail stores. • This section will cover New Item costs to a warehouse and shelf location at retail. Learn about mandated marketing costs associated with presenting a service to an end customer. • Many companies mandate in-store presentations on new items. Some services will also have to be shown to be effective, which will also be covered in this section. • Learn how to craft a Capability Statement for presentation in government contracting opportunities. • Discover the costs associated with getting a product/service to market and when to expect a profitable payout when using various entities.
