Fast Track to Contracts is a 3-part virtual Government Contracting Series that will provide small, minority-owned, and women-owned business owners with a comprehensive understanding of government certifications and contracting with a focus on local and state government agencies and opportunities. Attendees must be able to attend all three sessions. Class dates: (each class will include a lecture, engagement activities, and Q&A) Tuesday, March 21, Tuesday, March 28, and Tuesday, April 4.

Class 2: The Capability Statement: Effective Marketing to Government · General overview of the company’s Capability Statement · 5 components of an effective capability · How to use the Capability Statement to market to government · Participants will review the Capability Statement questionnaire · Templates and formatting for the Capability Statement will be shared

Class 3: Pitching to Land Your 1st or Next Government Contract · General overview of bidding for contract awards · Types of contract awards · Components of a successful bid · Access to previous winning proposals · Pricing strategies, specialties, trades, services, and products

A one-on-one counseling session with Lain Consulting will be offered for those that complete the series.
