Nonprofit Summit: Understanding Strategic Planning through Effective Organizational Evaluation
This workshop is designed to help non-profits understand the purpose of effective evaluation BEFORE the jump to creating a Strategic Plan. Many organizations either do not know what their strategy is, or do not know how to execute it successfully. Our 90-minute workshop will lend suggestions and direction for you to determine long and short-term strategies as well as how to operationalize it within your designated period. This conversation will introduce you to the concept of logic models- documentation and actions that make an explicit, often visual, statement of the activities that will bring about change and the results you expect to see for the community and its people. A thoughtful logic model also keeps participants in the effort moving in the same direction by providing a common language and point of reference. Topics: Understanding Strategic Planning through Effective Organizational Evaluation Leveraging Relationships, & Assets to build Organizational Power, Wealth, and Sustainability
