ALL SEATS FOR THIS CAMP HAVE BEEN FILLED. TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITLIST, CLICK HERE
This hands-on, creative camp focuses on entrepreneurship, building confidence and working as a team. Over the course of a 4 days, campers will work on problem solving, public speaking and creativity skills, as well as learn the ins and outs of what it takes to start a business. They will also hear from community members and local business leaders.
Topics covered over this 4-day period will include:
Choice The ability to choose how we respond to our circumstances is fundamental. Entrepreneurs recognize that their decisions, not external conditions, shape their lives. This lesson emphasizes personal agency and the power of intentional decision-making.
Opportunity Entrepreneurs are skilled at recognizing problems as opportunities in disguise. This competency involves identifying challenges and leveraging knowledge and experience to find solutions, turning obstacles into avenues for growth.
Action Turning ideas into action is critical. Entrepreneurs are action-oriented, focusing on what they can influence and taking small, consistent steps toward their goals. This lesson highlights the importance of execution over mere ideation.
Persistence Overcoming adversity and persisting through challenges is vital. Entrepreneurs develop resilience, viewing setbacks as learning opportunities rather than failures
Each camp participant will receive an ECC t-shirt, lunch daily, supplies for the class, and a $100 stipend.
PLEASE NOTE: As long as the participant is still under the age of 18, the parent/guardian should use their information to register below. After registering, someone from ECC SBC will email you a form where we will collect your child's proper information.
