This is a fun, yet intense deep dive into taking your culinary idea and or current business to the next level. The food industry is a team effort, and our business strategists and local community are going to be with you during the entire journey.
You will also be networking with the most prominent lenders in North Carolina that provide Access to Capital for food trucks, craft breweries, family-owned restaurants, and catering companies. It’s a team effort and we’ve got you!
At the completion of this programming you will have created a Business Plan, Financial Projections and a network of lenders and business professionals cheering you on to the next stage of growth for your business.
Session 6: RECIPE EXPLORATION and COMPETITION with Local Guest Chefs IN PERSON (Culinary Lab – CFI 137 – Bldg. L- Tarboro Campus)
Do you have a recipe that you know is a winner but are not sure how to bring it to the market or expand your current customer base? We will explore every product that is entered into the Farm 2 Table Community during the event to help you explore ways to market your product or perfect it with words of wisdom from local guest chefs. We will also share best practices for sourcing your products raw materials from local farmers in the area. After completing this fun live event you will know how to find and connect with your local farmers and for the farmers at the event, you will gain a full understanding of the "art" of culinary planning so you can produce your product on time and in season to meet the needs of your local chefs, bakers and foodies.
