Topic: Government Contracting

This introductory course will open the world of Federal Contracting to you. Learn what you need to do before you invest time and resources registering your business to be procurement ready. Come prepared to ask all the hard and simple questions you have always had about government contracting. By the end of this session, you will walk away with a high-level understanding of how Government contracting works, how and why businesses should consider Federal clients to expand and diversify their client portfolios. Most importantly, learn of all the FREE resources North Carolina and the Small Business Administration (SBA) make available to you as you start your government contracting journey. This session is ideal for companies who have been in business for at least 2-3 years on the commercial side and are exploring expanding and/or diversifying their business to work with the Federal Government. This session is not appropriate for people who want to learn how to start a business. We recommend SBTDC or the local Apex Accelerators for that. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN IN PERSON SESSION AT THE SMALL BUSINESS CENTER
