Venture Davie - Worker's Compensation for Small Businesses
What is Venture Davie? Venture Davie is a collaboration between the Davie County Chamber of Commerce, Davie Community Foundation, and Davidson-Davie Community College Small Business Center. This 3-month accelerated program will give selected participants tools from local professionals to create a solid foundation for a successful business.
What is the cost? There is no cost to attend these classes! We know that starting a small business can be challenging, so we want to be there to support you on your journey.
What do I need to bring? All you need to bring is a notebook and any questions you have about starting a business. Laptops will be provided if needed.
How do I register? Click "Register". Once your reservation is received, you will receive an email confirming your registration. Please repeat this process for each class you would like to attend.
Dates & Time: Classes at DDCC Education Center, 120 Kinderton Blvd, Suite 110, Bermuda Run. Class dates will be held from: 5:45-7:15 PM on September 10 & 24; October 8 & 22; and November 12 & 26.

- Class 1: Getting to Know You /Liability for small businesses
- Class 2: Worker's Compensation for small businesses
- Class 3: Launching/RE-Launching your business (maybe you started on the wrong foot and need to relaunch your business and rework your business plan)
- Class 4: HR Informational-HR for small businesses
- Class 5: Personal vs. Business Finances (know how to separate your personal vs. business finances as an entrepreneur)
- Class 6: Social Media Marketing/Let's Wrap (Virtual)
