NC DOT Community Engagement

This event is designed to offer networking and learning opportunities for contractors, consultants and other businesses interested in working with NCDOT. We will be joined by other agencies and community partners from the area, such as the Small Business Center at Craven Community College and the Small Business Transportation Resource Center as they share information on how to grow your capacity. Ever thought about working with Craven County Area Transit System? Staff will be on hand to discuss contracting opportunities in Craven County and surrounding areas. Prime contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Barnhill Contracting, and Thalle Construction will be available to discuss their needs for subcontractors on the many opportunities in Eastern NC. NCDOT Division 2 and the Global Transpark will be on hand to discuss upcoming projects and how you can get involved. Registration for the event starts at 8:30am, and the session will kick off at 9am. Lunch will be provided. Come out and learn about all of the opportunities available for small, medium, and growing businesses such as yourself! NCDOT Division 2 Personnel will be on hand to discuss upcoming projects at both the county and division level, and prime contractors will be around to talk about their needs and how you can get involved. Registration for the event starts at 9:30 am, and the session will kick off at 10 am. Lunch will be provided.
