This 2-hour workshop is designed for nonprofit staff and nonprofit board members who are new in their roles or are seeking a refresher. The curriculum for the Duke Energy Professional Development Series for Nonprofit Executives and Boards is based on our Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Management guide. This guide is designed to help nonprofits improve and strengthen their organization in 12 core management principles, such as board governance, financial management, strategic planning, and fundraising. Participants will receive a complimentary copy of the guide. Speaker Pamela Palmer, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Human Relations and Nonprofit Studies programs at High Point University (HPU).
