What Nonprofit Executive Directors and Board Members Need to Know About Active Shooter Events
As a Nonprofit Executive Director or Board Member, what would you do if confronted with an active shooter at your nonprofit? Join us for a session lead by Sgt. Waddell from the Jacksonville Police Department where he will share the strategies of Avoid, Deny, and Defend (ADD) developed by ALERRT as part of the Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Course that provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Sgt. Waddell will cover the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and considerations for conducting drills in this informative session.
