How to Engage & Market to Different Ages & Generations (for Funeral Directors)
Age groups and generations often have similar characteristics, preferences and values based on their life experiences and the time they grew up. Learning about their history and preferred means of communicating helps funeral directors market their services to the public more effectively. It also enables them to strengthen relationships, build trust with and improve the morale of their staff members. In this training, we’ll look at the unique talents, struggles, motivators and defining events of each generation. We’ll discuss the types of marketing messages that appeal to and engage each of these five generations: Traditionalists, born 1925-1945; Baby boomers, born 1946-1964; GenXers, born 1965-1980; Millennials, born 1980-1996; and Generation Z, born after 1996.

Pocket cards are required for admission and CE credit. Please bring them with you along with a valid picture ID/Driver's License This course has been approved by the North Carolina Board of Funeral Service for 5 hours of continuing education credit.
