Responsible Board Governance - Module 1: Roles & Responsibilities
This seminar, offered in partnership with UNCW-QENO, is the 1st module in a 3-module series designed for new nonprofit board members and seasoned board members. In this seminar we will cover: board member roles including legal and operational responsibilities, how to ensure mission-driven decision making, why transparency is crucial in the nonprofit sector, individual legal responsibilities, importance of board oversight, and policies all nonprofits SHOULD have in place.
