Speaker(s): Antowanna Carpenter Antowanna is an author, educator and expert grant writer. Having served on several boards and as Grants Director for a community college (obtaining funding in the millions); Antowanna specializes in helping agencies obtain their tax exempt (501C3) status as well as helping them understand the funding and grants process. Over the course of twenty five years Antowanna has trained thousands of individuals including government entities, nonprofits, churches and businesses on how to successfully locate and write grants. Antowanna is a Business Professor at Central Piedmont Community College and Founder of Granting Hope (an organization geared towards helping start and grow nonprofits). In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, exploring new adventures and spending quality time with family and friends.
