She has a background in crisis preparedness and business continuity through partnerships with public and private sector organizations in manufacturing, retail, and aviation. Vaughn Mathews was selected in 2017 as 1 of 50 women across the United States as a Global Innovation Fellow by the U.S. State Department in Shenzhen, China due to her international business experience. She was also the first female in the state of Georgia to graduate with a degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
