Topic: Financing

Finding the right funding can be one of the biggest hurdles when starting or growing a business. In this one-hour session, we’ll walk through the most common ways entrepreneurs finance their businesses—from personal savings and family support to traditional bank loans, SBA programs, community lenders, grants, and private investors. The goal is to help you better understand the landscape of business financing and where your business may fit within it. This presentation is designed as a practical introduction for startups and small businesses that may be exploring funding options now or in the future. The session will highlight key concepts, common funding pathways, and resources available in North Carolina. The presentation will conclude with time for questions and discussion so participants can better understand which financing strategies may fit their situation.
