Easy-to-Follow Etiquette Rules for our Live Zoom Workshops! Here are some tips we ask you to follow to ensure a positive experience for everyone participating. • Please send in questions ahead of time. Be on the lookout in our reminder emails to send in your questions before the workshop starts. This way we can tailor the workshop to your expectations. Don’t worry if you don’t have any questions ahead of time, you will have time to ask questions during the workshop. • Be on time We have a limited time to cover very important topics. Please try to commit to stay on the whole workshop. We only provide handouts/slides to attendees who stay on 80% of the workshop. • Turn on your camera, if you’re able. We want to see you! Please be mindful of your background and limit visual distractions. If lagging or bandwidth issues occur you will be instructed to turn off your camera. • Make sure you are muted. All attendees are muted upon entry to the workshop. Please remember to mute yourself upon completion of any comments or questions. • Use the chat feature to ask questions. Instead of interrupting the presenter to ask a question, please ask your question in the chat. We will address questions in the middle and at the end of the workshop. Please be patient. Many times, the question you have will be addressed in future slides of the presentation. • Raise your hand and wait to be called on. If you wish to speak, either physically raise your hand or use the “Raise Hand” button at the center of the bottom of your screen. Once the presenter has called on you, unmute yourself and begin speaking. When finished speaking, indicate you are done by saying something like “That’s all” or “Thank You” and then mute your microphone again. Please try to limit your questions until the designated time for questions – which will be at the middle and end of the presentation. The Zoom chat feature is a tool to make comments and ask questions without interrupting the speaker. • Be professional and respectful in your speech. Because Zoom w
