If you believe that knowledge is power, then the library may hold your keys to success. When was the last time you visited a library, in person or online? Do you still have a library card? Do you really need one? Did you know that, as a client of the WCC Small Business Center, you have access to many business research databases through Pardue Library? Some experts predicted that in the digital age libraries would become a thing of the past, with everything seemingly available through a tap, click, or swipe; yet this is not the case. In fact, researchers and economists have found libraries to be one of the most valuable resources available to everyone since libraries provide access to millions of dollars of research databases to you for free. So how can this benefit you as a small business owner or aspiring entrepreneur? In this webinar we will explore the many library resources available to help you open, operate, and grow your small business in the digital age. We will dive into resources to: -help you start a business -conduct market research -identify your target customers -and, explore emerging trends. Note: Anyone across the state can attend this seminar. There are 58 community colleges across that state with a library to use!
